This Trend Two Flute Pocket Router Cutter features a 6.3mm (1/4") cutting diameter with a 19mm cut length and a 1/4" shank, making it the smaller, more versatile option in the range — ideal for finer detail work and use with lighter routers and trimmers. The compact 6.3mm diameter suits intricate grooving and narrow mortising operations, whilst the extra-long shank allows the cutter to reach beyond the thickness of thicker templates — a real advantage during template routing tasks. The 1/4" shank is compatible with a wide range of routers and laminate trimmers. Due to the extended shank and smaller diameter, it is especially important to take multiple passes rather than attempting full-depth cuts in one go. Only cut up to half the diameter of the cutter in a single pass to reduce the risk of breakage.
