The Makita No 4 Wood Cutting Jig Saw Blade is an HSS jigsaw blade designed primarily for cutting wood, supplied in a pack of five with the Makita M-shank fitting. The M-shank design is compatible with certain older Makita jigsaws, making this blade a reliable replacement option for tradespeople and contractors working with legacy tools. With a 9 TPI tooth configuration and a working length of 59mm, the blade delivers clean, controlled cuts through timber and sheet materials. Whilst optimised for wood cutting to depths of up to 50mm, these blades are also capable of cutting PVC to the same depth, as well as aluminium and metal up to 6mm — offering useful versatility on mixed-material jobs.
