The Bosch PRO T1018AFP is a Bi-Metal jigsaw blade designed for cutting metal sandwich materials, where hard, multi-layered panels demand a blade that is both strong and long enough to pass through the full thickness. At 250 mm in length, it is suited to workpieces up to 150 mm thick. The blade combines a high-speed steel (HSS) tooth strip with a more elastic high-carbon steel (HCS) body, giving it strength and flexibility. It is also made thicker than standard blades, which makes it harder to bend and helps it hold a straight line, including when cutting at an angle. Milled, wavy-set, fine-pitched teeth help produce neat, clean cuts in metal sandwich panels. Bosch recommends this T-shank jigsaw blade for use with the GST 150 and GST 160 jigsaws, and it fits all T-shank jigsaws.
