Intended exclusively for router table use, this cutter produces the classic ogee moulding profile associated with traditional raised panel door and cabinet work. It is suitable for straight panels only and should not be used as a handheld router bit. For best results and a clean, accurate profile, the cut should be made in 3 to 4 incremental passes, increasing the cutting depth with each pass. This staged approach reduces stress on the cutter and workpiece, helping to achieve a smooth, consistent finish.
