Makita Genuine 643550-8 Brush Holder Cap CB9

The Makita 643550-8 Brush Holder Cap CB9 is a genuine OEM replacement part designed to secure and cover the carbon brushes within your Makita tool's motor assembly. Manufactured from durable moulded plastic, the cap features a threaded body that locks firmly into the brush holder, with a slotted head allowing straightforward removal and reinstallation using a standard flat-head screwdriver. This makes routine servicing and brush inspection quick and hassle-free on the job or in the workshop. By keeping the brush assembly properly enclosed, the cap helps maintain stable electrical contact and shields the brushes from dust ingress and vibration — both common causes of premature motor wear. It is a direct like-for-like replacement when the original cap becomes cracked, worn, or lost. Compatible across a wide range of Makita corded tools used in construction, carpentry, metalworking, and general maintenance, it is commonly fitted to models including the RT0700C router and KP0800 planer, among many others. As a genuine Makita part, it is built to OEM standards, ensuring a precise fit and reliable long-term performance.
