The Draper ETK134 Engine Timing Kit is a professional camshaft and crankshaft locking tool set designed specifically for BMW petrol engines. Essential for timing belt and timing chain service work, this comprehensive kit enables mechanics and technicians to safely lock the engine's camshafts and crankshaft in the correct timed position during replacement procedures, preventing costly engine damage from valve-to-piston contact. This timing tool kit is compatible with BMW 1 Series (E81/E82/E87/E88) 116i models from 2004 to 2009, BMW 3 Series (E46) 316i from 2002 to 2007, and BMW 3 Series (E90/E91/E92/E93) 316ti Compact from 2005 to 2010. The kit covers 1.6cc petrol engines with the N45 B16A, N45T B16AC, and N40 B16A engine codes. Each component in the set corresponds to OEM specification tools, ensuring accurate fitment and reliable performance. The kit includes dedicated camshaft locking tools for both inlet and exhaust positions, a flywheel setting pin for crankshaft alignment, and a Vanos sensor alignment tool for variable valve timing adjustment. The tensioner pre-load tool allows proper timing chain or belt tension to be set during installation, whilst the included screws and fasteners provide secure tool mounting throughout the service procedure.
