The Trend CRB/SF Combination Router Base Side Fence is a cast acrylic side fence designed for guiding straight cuts when used with the Trend Combination Router Base (CRB). Its extended length provides improved support at both the beginning and end of a cut, helping to maintain consistent contact and reduce the risk of the fence rocking or losing register during the pass. The fence offers three mounting positions on the CRB — bridge end, middle, or rod end — and can be fitted either vertically or horizontally to the base plate to suit the task at hand. This flexibility makes it a versatile addition to the CRB system for a range of routing applications. A facility to accept a sacrificial fence allows users to notch into the material for edge profiling work. When two fences are fitted simultaneously to the CRB, the combination can function as a limited ski attachment, making it suitable for relief carving work.
