The Trend CRAFTPRO Double Sided Folding Stone is a compact diamond whetstone designed for sharpening and honing a wide range of cutting tools and blades. The stone offers two grits in a single tool — a coarse 360 grit (nominally 40 microns) for rapid edge repair and restoration, and a fine 600 grit (nominally 25 microns) for refining and honing to a razor-sharp finish. This makes it equally suited to carpentry tasks such as sharpening chisels and plane irons, and to cabinet making where a precise, clean cutting edge is essential. The ABS plastic folding handle protects the diamond surface during storage and transport, keeping the stone in working condition. Oval holes across the sharpening surface collect and retain metal swarf during use. Compatible with Trend lapping fluid, which is recommended to prevent clogging and rusting and to keep tools clean.
