Sobre o produto
The Kew Gardens Ergonomic Heavy Duty Bypass Secateurs are professional-grade pruning tools designed for precision cutting of living stems and green wood. Developed through collaboration between Spear & Jackson and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, these secateurs combine horticultural expertise with traditional British tool manufacturing craftsmanship. The bypass cutting action delivers a clean, scissor-style cut that minimises bruising and damage to tender green stems, making these secateurs ideal for careful pruning work on roses, shrubs, and delicate garden plants. The high carbon steel drop forged blades maintain their edge through repeated use, whilst the lightweight forged aluminium alloy handles provide excellent strength without causing fatigue during extended pruning sessions. With a maximum cutting capacity of 20mm diameter, these secateurs are suitable for general garden maintenance, ornamental plant care, and professional horticultural work. The ergonomic handle design ensures comfortable operation, whilst the availability of spare springs and replacement blade sets extends the working life of the tool, making them a practical choice for both professional gardeners and serious home gardeners.
