The Bosch 6 Piece PointTeq HSS Drill Bit Set is a set of HSS twist drill bits designed for fast drilling in metal, with a self-centring PointTeQ tip that prevents wandering at the start of the hole. The PointTeQ tip design remains sharp and generates less heat and wear thanks to its increased drilling rate. The black-oxide coated flute provides fast chip removal. The bits are manufactured to DIN 338, Type N, with a 135-degree tip. Suitable for drilling clearance and pilot holes in alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron and plastics. The cylindrical shank (equal to the drill bit diameter) is intended for use in drill stands and drill drivers, and is compatible with three-jaw drill chucks. The highly elastic body gives a low risk of breakage, especially for bits below 6 mm in diameter.
