The Trend Varijig Tenon and Grooving Jig is a precision woodworking jig designed for cutting grooves and tenons accurately using a plunge router. The adjustable alloy frame allows narrower or wider grooves to be routed, with a maximum adjustment of 70mm depending on the diameter of the router base. Two sliding stops let you set the groove length precisely, while the squaring butt accepts a spelch block to enable a full-length groove — fixing screws are included for this purpose. Versatile in application, the jig can also be used to crosscut boards with either a router or circular saw. The edge of the frame doubles as a guide for trimming a panel square, making it a genuinely multi-purpose addition to any woodworking setup. The jig is compatible with any plunge router fitted with a guide bush of minimum 8mm projection. With a working length of 400mm and a sturdy alloy construction, it is well suited to cabinet making, furniture construction, and general joinery work. Router not included.
