Sobre o produto
The Sealey AK3028 is a comprehensive 28-piece metric tap and die set designed for creating and restoring external and internal threads on metalwork. Constructed from high-quality alloy steel, this professional threading kit provides tradespeople with the essential tools needed for accurate thread cutting across commonly used metric sizes from 3mm to 12mm. The split dies feature machined lead-ins that facilitate smooth thread engagement, whilst the die holder incorporates a self-centring mechanism to ensure straight and accurate thread cutting. This design helps maintain alignment during operation, reducing the risk of cross-threading and damaged components. The set includes both intermediate and plug taps for versatility, along with a T-handled tap wrench for leverage and control. Ideal for automotive repairs, machinery maintenance, and general engineering work where damaged or missing threads need restoration. The included metric screw pitch gauge enables quick and accurate identification of existing thread specifications before starting work. All components are organised in a sturdy storage case, keeping the set protected and readily accessible on-site or in the workshop.
