Portwest Shock Absorbing Single Lanyard

The Portwest Shock Absorbing Single Lanyard is a fall arrest lanyard designed to protect workers at height by safely decelerating a fall and reducing the forces transmitted to the body. Fitted with both a scaffold hook and a snap hook, this lanyard connects securely to anchor points on scaffolding and compatible fall arrest harnesses. The integrated shock absorber is a critical safety component, activating during a fall to absorb energy and limit the impact load on the user. The elasticated webbing is a practical design feature that reduces trailing slack, minimising the risk of the lanyard snagging on equipment or causing a tripping hazard on site. At 180cm in total length including connectors when fully extended, it provides a reliable working reach for a range of at-height tasks. Rated to a maximum user load of 140kg, this lanyard suits the majority of working environments where single-point fall arrest is required — from scaffolding and steel erection to roofing and maintenance work. It carries both CE and UKCA marking, confirming compliance with current UK and European personal protective equipment regulations.
