Makita Genuine 194996-6 CB303 Carbon Brush Set

The Makita CB303 Carbon Brush Set (part no. 194996-6) is a genuine Makita spare part designed to restore reliable motor performance in the UB1101 and UB1101/1 leaf blowers, as well as a range of other compatible Makita tools. Supplied as a matched pair, these carbon brushes maintain consistent electrical contact with the commutator, helping to reduce arcing, minimise heat build-up, and protect the armature from unnecessary wear. The durable carbon/graphite compound ensures stable conductivity and a long service life under regular use. Each brush features a flexible lead and sprung tail to deliver consistent spring pressure within the original brush holders, supporting smooth start-up, steady running, and correct braking where applicable. Being a genuine Makita replacement, the fit and performance are assured without the guesswork of aftermarket alternatives. Replacing carbon brushes is a straightforward preventative maintenance task that can restore motor efficiency, torque, and speed under load — helping to avoid power loss, intermittent running, and unplanned downtime on site. Both brushes should always be replaced at the same time to ensure even wear.
